Selma City Council meeting loaded with subjects

Several subjects will be discussed at the Selma City Council meeting on Tuesday at 6 p.m. in the Council Chamber.
Among the business items up for discussion by council members include: IT Bond expenses (Councilwoman Jannie Thomas), City owned property available to buy (City Councilman Clay Carmichael), Resolution for STOMP (City Council President Billy Young) and Medical Cannabis Ordinance (Carmichael).
Those were among the business items discussed at Thursday’s City Council Work Session.
Three residents are on the agenda for citizen’s concerns: LeMarkus A. Snow, Mignonta Daniel and Kenyotta Rucker.
Snow, owner of Snow’s Cleaning Service, will discuss Grievance of Company.
Daniel will discuss Cemetery concerns.
Rucker, a YMCA Board member, will speak about Lodging Tax Reinstatement.
City Attorney Major Madison will have the Attorney’s Report.
Selma Mayor James Perkins Jr. will have the Mayor’s Report.
