A fire took place Friday in the kitchen of the Golden Ranch BBQ & Grill on Friday morning.

Selma Fire Department Assistant Fire Chief Walter Dailey said that the fire was caused by the vent system and it extended into other parts of the building. No one was injured.

“The fire was very unfortunate, but we got it stopped in time,” Dailey said.

Golden Ranch posted in Social Media: “We’ll be closed today, and will post when we can reopen.”

Dailey said that he expects the clean-up will take a few days.
