The City of Valley Grande will have its annual Christmas in the Park event during the second Sunday in December.

The event will be held on Sunday, December 11 from 2-4 pm. at Valley Grande City Park.

Councilwoman Sara Day, who’s in charge of the Walking Trail and Community Events, said that the park is being decorated and plans to have it done by Thanksgiving next week.

Day added that Santa Claus and other Christmas characters will be on display at the park for families to take pictures of.

Valley Grande will have its next City Council meeting on Monday, November 21 at 6 p.m. at Valley Grande City Hall.
