EMA Director announces Flood Evacuation Plan

The Dallas County Commission approved a Resolution involving Flood Evacuation plan at its meeting last week at the Dallas County Courthouse.
The County Commission approved and adopted Resolution 2022-11-3 County Road 808 Flood Evacuation Plan.
EMA Director Toya Crusoe said when citizens on County 808 contact 911, 911 will dispatch the Dallas County Rescue Squad.
Crusoe also announced that International Paper awarded a Grant in the amount of $6,274.00 to purchase emergency radios with flashlights for senior citizens and the disabled.
Crusoe announced that ALEA awarded a Grant purchase a Mobile Command Trailer for crime scenes to hook on the back of a truck.
She said that Dallas County Commission will add TV monitors and radios inside. She said the $77,440 unit will be ready sometime next year.
