WCCS hold MOU signings with Miles College, South University

Wallace Community College-Selma held signings of collaborative articulation agreements with Miles College and South University on Thursday.
WCCS President Dr. James Mitchell signed the Memorandum of Understanding with Miles College President Bobbie Knight and South University Vice Chancellor and Provost Dr. Gilbert Singletary during the ceremony.
Mitchell believes the MOU with South University and Miles College will provide another chance for WCCS students to attend four -year schools in the state.
Singletary said it’s a great opportunity for South University’s campus in Montgomery.
“The MOU means everything for South University,” Singletary said. “We’re super excited about the changes taking place in Selma.”
Mitchell said the MOU is a great deal for both WCCS and Miles College.
“The partnership not only helps Miles College, it helps Wallace Community College-Selma who want to get four year degrees” Miles said. “It helps the entire state of Alabama.”
WCCS Executive Assistant to the President and Dean of the Students Dr. Donitha Griffin provided the greetings to both MOU signings. WCCS Dean of Instruction Dr. Tammie Briggs delivered the overview at both MOU signings.
