Central Christian overcame a 14-point 4th quarter deficit to take the lead late, but it wasn’t enough. CCA fell to Warrior 48- 47.
Stephon Stewart hit 2 free throws with 9 seconds left to put Warrior ahead 48-47. Central Christian missed 2 shots as the buzzer sounded, and no foul was called. Carl Rawls was livid about that.
Major Burton scored 10 points for Warrior. Wesley Bell scored 11 for CCA. Rebounding and turnovers were even. CCA was 13-21 from the line and Warrior was 11-22.
