Matthew Davis, who graduated from Morgan Academy in 2020, recently made  the Dean’s List for the Spring 2023 semester at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.

For a student to make the Dean’s List, UA Little Rock students must earn at least nine credit hours and maintain at least a 3.5 GPA.

Davis made The Selma Times-Journal All Dallas County baseball team in 2019  and 2020.

As a pitcher, Davis helped the Senators reach the AISA State Baseball Championship Series in 2019.

Gunnar Henderson, now with Baltimore Orioles,  was also a member of that team
