Despite being the summer many schools are already thinking about the fall and football season. Fall also begins cheer season for many schools around Dallas County. Meadowview Christian School is getting ready for cheer season in a big way by heading to Troy Universities Cheer Camp starting June 19. The Varsity squad is coached by Stephanie Herrod and she is excited for the upcoming year and the way her cheer squad is shaping up so far.

“The squad has been working hard, and pressing through a few minor injuries. I am excited to see how they do at competition at camp,” Herrod said. “At cheer camp, the team learns new material and techniques they employ to entertain their Trojan fans and cheer on the team for football and basketball seasons at Meadowview Christian School.”
