The Selma City Council’s Work Session scheduled for Thursday was canceled.

Selma City Council President Billy Young said the meeting did not have council members to produce a meeting. Council members Sam Randolph and Jannie Thomas were the only ones to appear.

Young said the Citizen’s request to the council, Betty Boynton (City Limits, Faya Toure (Issues), Willie Thomas Jr. (Songs of Selma Park) and former Selma City Councilman Tom Headley (Finishing the Job), will be moved to Tuesday’s Selma City Council meeting.

Attorney David Sawyer will have a announcement to the city council regarding Police Officers on the City Council agenda.
