Morgan Academy and Meadowview Christian School each lost on the road Friday night.

The Senators lost to second-ranked Patrician Academy 37-22. The Trojans fell to Southern Academy 51-0

Patrician Academy 37, Morgan Academy 22:   The Senators (0-1) lost their opener to Patrician Academy.

The Senators led 14-7 after one quarter and trailed 15-14 at halftime.

Quarterback Caden Tellier threw two touchdown passes, one each to Speedie Pernell and Milton Hand.

Tellier finished with 112 passing yards. Pernell had six catches for 40 yards. Hand had three catches for 35 yards.

The Senators visit Valiant Cross Academy next Thursday.

Southern Academy 51, Meadowview Christian School 0: The Trojans (0-2) remain winless on the season, falling at Southern Academy in Greensboro.

Meadowview hasn’t won in six years. The team visits Trinity Christian on Thursday.
