Mrs. Lois Parnell

Mrs. Lois Parnell, 78, resident of Selma, passed away May 5, 2011 at Jackson Hospital. Services are scheduled for Saturday, May 14, 2011, 12:00 noon at New Bethany Baptist Church officiated by Pastor A.L. Brown. Burial will follow in church cemetery directed by Miller Funeral Service of Selma.

Survivors include son, Charles (Norma) Richardson; daughter, Mable Pernell; brothers, Ned Richardson and James Richardson; sisters, Sarah Lee Barnes, Sarah Pearl Bradley, Lucille Jones, Alma Harrell, Bernice Eldridge, and Esther (Fred) Sanders; seven grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, six great-great grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews.
