Sean Pope scored six touchdowns as Meadowview Christian School beat Trinity Christian 52-42 on Friday at Wasden Field.

MCS (1-9) got its first win since 2017.  Cole Ballard and Alex Johnson each scored touchdowns for the Trojans.

“We’re floating on clouds, we’re proud of them,” Trojans coach John Treherne said.

Southside 36, Francis Marion 8, Derick Smith scored three touchdowns as the Panthers (7-2) prevailed. Erick Smith, Amadrion Smith, and MJ Reese also caught TD receptions.

Southside visits Alabama Christian next Friday.

Glenwood Academy 49, Morgan Academy 8: The Senators (1-8, 1-7)  have lost seven straight. Caden Tellier threw a 53-yard TD pass to Milton Hand. Tellier scored the two-point conversion.

The Senators host Pickens Academy in their season finale next Thursday.

Bibb County 55, Dallas County 8:  The Hornets (0-8, 0-6 Region 3, Class 4A) remained winless, falling at Martin Field in Platntersville.

Alkreem Wilson scored a touchdown for the Hornets, Desean Peat added a two-point conversion.

The Hornets host West Blocton for Homecoming next Friday.
