Valley Grande Council approves new fence

The Valley Grande City Council approved a resolution to build a new fence around the pavilion.
Resolution 2023-161 was approved by Mayor Wayne Labbe, council members Kay Davidson, Sara Day, Bruce Hughes, and Robbie Rose.
Labbe said that a fence will be built around the pavilion, with the purpose of renting the pavilion and preventing trash from piling up.
In other council news, Councilwoman Sara Day said she was pleased with how the Oct. 7 Fall Festival turned out at the Walking Trail. Day is in charge of special events.
“We had a really good turnout and I thank the council for their help,” Day said.
