On to Victory Auburn NIL (name, image, likeness) Executive Director Brett Whiteside will be the guest speaker at the Selma Quarterback Club on Monday.

The event will start at 6 p.m. at the George P. Evans Building.

Whiteside has Auburn ties. He worked on the Auburn football staff 2013-2020, serving as Director of Recruiting Operations before being promoted to Director of Football Operations.

The Southside native was responsible for budget oversight, team scheduling, organizing team travel and day-to-day operations.

Whiteside also served as the liaison to athletics administration, Tigers Unlimited, business office, compliance, media relations and University departments.

Between his employment at Auburn, Whiteside was the chief recruiting officer at the University of Missouri working for head coach Eliah Drinkwitz during the 2021 season. The two worked together at Auburn in 2010 and 2011.

Whiteside oversaw recruiting and external responsibilities for the football program and had top recruiting classes in school history back-to-back years.

Whiteside graduated from Arkansas State in 2012, earning master’s degree in administration of higher education from Auburn in 2015 and close to earning a doctorate in administration of higher education.
