Southside Hgh School and Keith High School were eliminated fom

Southside fell to Straughn 45-14 in the first round of the Class 3A state playoffs. The Bears lost to Georgiana 61-0 in round one of the 1A state playoffs.

Straughn 45, Southside 14: Straughn closed the game with 38 straight points to eliminate the Panthers (7-4).

It was the final game for Southside seniors J’Carion Murry, MJ Reese, Malcolm Glover, Jay Moore and Pedro Prevo.

MJ Reese ran for a touchdown, while Derick Smith caught a TD  reception.

Georgina 61, Keith 0: The Bears (6-5) fell behind 14-0 in the first quarter and did not recover.

It was the final game for Keith seniors Saderreion Reuben, Jeffrey Gipson, Aveon Young, Jaden Ivery, Joseph Lumpkin and Kevin Fikes.
