The Selma Housing Authority (SHA) named Uleter Nix its first Employee of the Month for 2024.

Nix serves as Outreach and Intake Coordinator for the SHA. Nix said she is thrilled to get the award and thanked SHA Executive Director Kennard Randolph.

“I am elated,” Nix said. “This means so much to me and more.  I Really appreciate your Leadership and your commitment to Selma. You are The Best Boss I have Ever had and I want the World to know. May God continue to Bless You on all Endeavors.Thank you So Much.” 

Randolph praised Nix’s hard work and dedication. 

“Thank you for your unwavering dedication and outstanding contributions to the team,” Randolph said of Nix. “Your hard work and commitment truly make a difference every day. Congratulations and keep up the fantastic work.”

Nix can be seen at basketball games at Dallas County High School (DCHS), where her husband, Cliff Nix, is the Hornets’ head basketball coach. DCHS fans refer to her as “Mama Nix.”
