Two Dallas County residents made the Provost’s List for the Fall Semester and Term 2 of the 2023-2024 academic year at Troy University. 

Caziah Simmons and KaLee Jones were among Troy’s full-time undergraduate students who registered for at least 12 semester hours with a grade point average of at least 3.65 to qualify for the Provost’s List. 

The Fall Semester includes students at the Troy campus. Term 2 includes students at Troy’s campuses in Dothan, Phenix City and Montgomery, along with locations outside of Alabama and online.

Simmons played basketball at Selma High School under Anthony Harris and graduated in 2020.

Jones was a Selma Times-Journal All-Dallas County selection in volleyball and basketball. Her father, Lebo Jones, is a former coach at Morgan Academy. She graduated from Morgan Academy in 2020.
