Kevin Wayne Acting studio workshop comes to Selma

Selma Education Literacy Math and Arts (S.E.L.M.A) and the Wallace Community College Best Buy Tech Center Empowers Community are partnering with the Kevin Wayne Acting Studio for an in depth acting, directing and producing film workshop on Saturday at Wallace Community College inSelma.
The event will be held from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. in the Earl Goodwin Theatre.
Kevin Wayne is a well-known actor, director and film producer who will be joined on the panel by actor Eric Gray, actor and author Daphne Danielle, actor and content creators Emily Easley and Marcell Johnson.
The panel will be moderated by Kaymon McGuire, Coordinator of the Wallace Community College Best Buy Tech Center and Alicia Chestnut, founding executive director of S.E.L.M.A.
Participants can anticipate an immersive experience, gaining invaluable knowledge from these seasoned professionals.
This workshop promises not only to enhance artistic skills but also to leave an enduring impact on our community’s cultural landscape.
Chestnut said her goal is to lead a vibrant and dynamic creative community, which the workshop provides. She also starred with Wayne and Gray in the movie “Castle Falls.”
