Three years after graduating from Selma High School, Bryant Gordon earned a degree at Mississippi State University (MSU).
Gordon was among the fall graduates at MSU, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Education. Gordon thanked his family for pushing him toward academic success.
“First off, I want to thank God because none of this would be possible without him, of course,” Gordon said. “ I know that my late grandmother, who passed last March, is pleased with all my achievements and for that, I honor her for everything she did in developing me into the young man I am today.”
Gordon said he is proud to hold a college diploma from MSU.
“Being a Mississippi State Grad means a lot to me, and I’m ready for what is in store in my future endeavors,” Gordon said.
Since arriving at the campus-based in Starkville, Mississippi Gordon has been an honor student. Gordon was inducted into Mississippi State’s chapter of The National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS).
A 2020 graduate of Selma High, Gordon was a Top 10 Senior and also graduated from the dual enrollment program at Wallace Community College-Selma (WCCS). At Selma High, Gordon had a 4.04 grade point average (GPA) and a 3.2 GPA at WCCS. Gordon was also a wide receiver for the Saints football team.
