Three seniors in the Black Belt Region received scholarships from Vaughan Regional Medical Center on April 12.
Jamesha Baker and Antwan Blevins, both of Dallas County and Wilcox County’s Jakiah Harris each received the Vaughan Regional Medical Center Auxiliary Healthcare Scholarship Award. The scholarship program displays VRMC’s commitment to fostering health education and supporting students in their pursuit of academic excellence.
“Vaughan is grateful for all the hard work and dedication the Auxiliary provides to our community and our employees,” VRMC CED David McCormack said.
Blevins and Harris will attend Wallace Community College-Selma after high school graduation. Blevins plans to attend UAB.
