Arabella Health and Wellness of Selma held a ribbon-cutting and grand opening ceremony on Tuesday.
“Since Arabella has taken over, things have gotten much better,” said Rochelle Hopkins of MED Tech. “They care about their employees, show appreciation to the staff with employee appreciation days and activities.”
The rehabilitation wing includes E-stim, diathermy, a rustic polished bible with a family lounge, a luxury spa shower, diathermy and ultrasound, standing frames and an interactive virtual therapeutic gaming system.
“We’re so excited about the new facility and remodeling,” Selma-Dallas County Chamber of Commerce executive director Sheryl Smedley said.
Dallas County Probate Judge Jimmy Nunn, Selma City Councilwomen Jannie Thomas and Christie Thomas and Dallas County Commissioner Vivian Rogers attended the grand opening and participated in a tour of the facility. Jasmine Robinson came on behalf of Selma Mayor James Perkins Jr.
Arabella Health and Wellness officials said they have partnerships with Ellwood Christian Academy, Selma City Council, Selma Housing Authority and Selma Charity League.
