Meadowview Christian School held its graduation ceremony for the Class of 2024 on Thursday night at Wasden Field.
Ashton Lewis was chosen as class valedictorian and Mary Katherine Krumnow was selected as class salutatorian.
Lewis, who will start at Wallace Community College-Selma before eventually transferring to either South Alabama or Troy, joins her older brother, William Lewis, as MCS valedictorians. William was valedictorian last year.
“It’s beautiful that William and I are keeping this in the family,” Ashton said. “We have a small senior class at MCS and it feels like a family.”
Krumrow, who will attend WCCS in the fall, said attending a small school helped her develop into an all-around student.
“Being named the salutatorian lets me know I’m talented and shows what the future looks like for me,” Krumrow said. “I’m really proud of myself.”
The rest of MCS class of 2024 includes John William Clibrey II, Jayuyan Amar Bibb, Christopher Tyson Gallion, Henry Lamar Hollingshead III, Ashlyn Charlotte Horn, William Thomas Goodwin, Landon Kyle Kinman, Carolyn Rivers Miller, Emily Florence Morrow, Hayden Lee Mott and Emily Grace Rollins.
