Morgan Academy helped Will Ingram make the jump from high school to college.
Four years after graduating from Morgan Academy, Ingram earned a B.S. degree in agricultural economics at Auburn University in May.
As a senior at Morgan Academy, Ingram had a 4.1 grade point average and a 30 ACT score. The path eventually landed Ingram a college diploma.
“Morgan Academy prepared me phenomenally in many areas of study and made the transition from high school to college much easier than expected,” Ingram said.
Ingram said his next step is moving to Oxford and pursuing an insurance career.
Ingram was best known at Morgan Academy as a football star. He made The Selma Times-Journal All-Dallas County football team for the last two seasons and played in the AISA all-star football game. As a senior, Ingram received a $5,000 scholarship from the Selma Quarterback Club.
“I’ll take away a lot of memories playing football at Morgan Academy,” Ingram said.
