Dallas County Commission approves multiple resolutions

The Dallas County Commission approved two resolutions involving Jim Minor Garden Homes on Monday.
The first Resolution, 2024-07-03, involved ratifying and affirming the management contract between the County Commission and Selma Housing Authority for the management of Jim Garden Homes.
The second resolution, 2024-07-04, involved approving the contract for litter and debris cleanup at Jim Garden Minor Homes.
Dallas County Attorney John Kelly presented both resolutions involving Jim Minor Homes.
Human Resources director Dee Blackmon presented a pair of resolutions, which both got approved unanimously by the commission.
- Resolution 2024-07-06, the addition of orthodontics coverage to the county dental plan with Blue Cross. The cost will be $7.45 per month for one person and one child, $8.48 monthly for one person and family.
- Resolution 2024-07-08, purchase a retirement plaque for Deborah Andrews, whose last day is Sept. 1.
County Engineer Anthony Crear presented two resolutions that the commission unanimously approved.
- Resolution 2024-07-07, a lease agreement with Three Marys LLC.
- FY 2024 County Rebuild Alabama contractor report. The report goes to the state about Asphalt Construction for rebuilding roads in the county.
