Ms. Mardessa C. Fowlkes, 87, of Selma passed away on Saturday, July 27, 2024.  Funeral arrangements have been scheduled for Saturday, August 3 at 11 a.m. from the Morning Star Baptist Church with Elder Ralph Edwards officiating. Burial will follow in the Serenity Memorial Gardens with Aubrey Larkin’s Lewis Brothers Funeral Home serving with excellence through professional service.  Ms. Fowlkes will lie in repose one hour prior to the funeral hour at the church.
