$5,000 reward offered in 2023 murder of 20-year-old

Gov. Kay Ivey has issued a $5,000 reward leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for the murder of 20-year-old Quintaris Perkins.
The reward was done by proclamations signed by Ivey and attested by Secretary of State Wes Allen.
According to a press release from District Attorney Robert Turner’s office, Perkins was discovered inside his vehicle with a life-threatening gunshot wound and died shortly thereafter as a result of his injuries on March 2, 2023.

In March 2023, Crimestoppers issued a $1,000 reward in the case. This new reward is in addition to the previous reward already issued.
