The Dallas County Commission swore in six elected officials Wednesday, continuing their leadership within several districts in Dallas County.

For District 1, Connel Towns Sr. will continue to hold his respective role as county commissioner alongside Vivian Rodgers who will continue serving district 2, Curtis Williams who will also remain the county commissioner for District 3 and Bill Lumpkin of Orrville who was elected to District 4.

“This is his first term,” Nunn said. “That will last four years, and I think that his goal and vision is going to overlap ours with the Dallas County Commission. He is already serving as a city councilman for Orrville. His goal and his vision he has shared with us is going to be into line with the county commission. So, I think that we can’t wait til he gets on board and starts working with us.”
