The Selma Police Department has made an arrest in the murder investigation of a Selma man, who was apparently shot in the area of Minter Avenue and Keller Alley on Saturday, Jan. 4.

Police Chief Kenta Fulford confirmed that Jadarius Moore, 31, was arrested Monday, Jan. 6, and charged with murder. Jail records indicated that Moore is being held in custody under no bond.

The arrest comes in the wake of officers responding to the call of a gunshot victim on Minter Avenue, which is in the vicinity of where the shots fired call was made around 7 p.m.
