The following persons were booked into the Dallas County Jail between Jan. 2 and Jan. 6. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

• Joshua Quinton Benford, 26, arrested Jan. 2 by the probations and parole board at 23 Broad Street, violation of parole, no bond.
• Kareen Jabuh Walker, 42, arrested Jan. 2 by the Dallas County Sheriff’s Department at 6980 County Road 3, three counts of domestic violence criminal mischief, domestic violence menacing third degree, no bond.
• Jecha Lashun Kelly, 30, arrested Jan. 2 by the Dallas County Sheriff’s Department at Taco Bell, failure to appear on criminal mischief and failure to appear on alcohol to a minor, no bond.
• Walter Hicks, 73, arrested Jan. 2 by the Dallas County Sheriff’s Department at 1600 County Road 3, domestic violence assault third degree, $6,000 bond.
• Crystal Sheppard, 43, arrested Jan. 6 by the Dallas County Sheriff’s Department at the Lowndes County Jail, failure to appear on domestic violence assault third degree, no bond.
• Jadarius Moore, 31, arrested Jan. 6 by the Selma Police Department at 1300 Alabama Avenue, murder, no bond.
