Arthur Lee Jones, 76, resident of Selma, passed away at his home on Thursday, January 9, 2025. He is preceded in death by his mother, Willie Mae Jones; father, Walter Jones; sisters, Rita Lynn Jones and Doris Jean Jones; and brother, Willie Jones. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Ann Parker Jones; his daughters, Michelle Jones Mitchell, Carletta Denise Jones Childs, Tracey Parker Shepard and Jasmine Olivia Jones; brothers, Fredrick Jones and Anthony Jones; sisters, Amie Louise Jones and Carolyn Ann Jones; six grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and three sons-in-law. Services are scheduled for Saturday, January 18, 2025, at noon at Selmont Community Baptist Church with the Rev. Joseph Coleman officiating. Burial in New Live Oak Cemetery.
