Ms. Sharon A. Smiley, 54, resident of Selma, passed away May 13, 2011 at Vaughan Regional Hospital. Services are scheduled for May 21, 2011, 11:00 a.m. at New Shady Grove M.P. Church officiated by Bishop B.A. Starks. Burial will follow in New Live Oak Cemetery directed by Miller Funeral Service of Selma.

She was preceded in death by parents.

Survivors include spouse, Robert Malone; three sons, John H. (Alfreda) Smiley, Eric (Tomeka) Smiley; Derrick (Youlanda) Smiley; daughter, Kiki (Carlton) Underwood;  three brothers, Willie James Tolbert, Edwin Tolbert, and Phillip Bossie; seven sisters, Barbara (Jack) Travis, Sonja (Phillip) Green, Merlene (Ron) Mitchell, Barbara (Everette) Jennings, Brenda Bossie, Mary (Robert) Lee, and Paula Harris; thirteen grandchildren, one son-in-law, two daughters-in-laws, five brothers-in-laws, one sister-in-law,  a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
