Ahead of the upcoming Memorial Day holiday weekend, the city of Selma has announced a revised trash pick-up schedule for next week. All city offices and departments will be closed Monday in observance of the holiday.

The garbage pick-up schedule will be:

• Monday garbage will be picked up on Tuesday
• Tuesday garbage will be picked up on Wednesday
• Wednesday garbage will be picked up on Thursday
• Thursday garbage will be picked up on Friday

The trash pick-up schedule will be:

• Monday trash will be picked up on Tuesday
• Tuesday trash will be picked up on Wednesday
• Wednesday trash will be picked up on Thursday
• Thursday and Friday trash will be picked up on Friday

Garbage and trash pick-up will return to their normal schedule beginning Monday, June 6.
