MONTGOMERY—State Sen. Hank Sanders will hold town hall meetings in his Senate District to receive important public input on the most pressing issues facing Alabamians and their families.

Sanders and the Senate Democratic Caucus will use the input to establish priorities for the upcoming legislative session.

The first of Sanders’ town hall meetings is scheduled for today at the Dallas County Courthouse annex in the commission chambers. The meeting begins at 6 p.m.

“Bad economic times bring the opportunity to decide what is really important to us, an opportunity to establish priorities and focus our resources on our most important needs,” Sanders said. “Talking to citizens throughout my district will be a very important exercise and one that will help set Alabama’s priorities.”
