Mrs. Peggy Jane Pongerayter, age 79, a resident of Camden, passed away on May 30, 2011.  Funeral services will be held at Camden Baptist Church on Wednesday June 1, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Bob Weber and Rev. Mike Prime officiating and Dunklin & Daniels Funeral home directing.  The family will receive friends prior to services from 1:30 to 3:00.  Interment will follow at Society Hill Cemetery.  Mrs. Pongerayter was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Lillian Beasley, husband, Pete Pongerayter, Jr. and great-granddaughter, Madison Lamkin.  She is survived by daughter, Ponda Sims of Camden, AL, son, P.J. Pongerayter (Angela) of Camden, AL, grandchildren, Shane Sims of Pine Hill, AL, Jamie Sims of Camden, AL, Susan Sheffield (James) of Magnolia, AL, Mary Lamkin of Camden, AL, D.J.
