Mr. Johnny (J.J.) Acoff, 73, resident of Selma, passed away May 25, 2011 at Vaughan Regional Hospital. Services are scheduled for Saturday, June 4, 2011, 1:00 p.m. at Abundant Life Center officiated by Pastor Etta Weaver. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery directed by Miller Funeral Service of Selma.

Survivors include sons, Bobby Acoff Struggs, Johnny Tabb, Judson Struggs, Samuel Struggs, and Lee Earnest Oliver; daughter, Judith Fitts (Tony); brother, Albert (Margaret) Tabb; two sisters, Gus Ann Williams and Mary Etta Childs; ten grandchildren, one brother-in-law, three sisters-in-laws,  a host of nieces and nephews.

Ms. Daisy Mae Bell

Ms. Daisy Mae Bell, age 47,  resident of Selma, Alabama, passed away May 28, 2011 in Selma.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, June, 4, 2011 , 1 p.m. at Tabernacle of Praise officiated by  Pastor W. Channing Jackson. Burial will follow in Fairlawn Memorial Gardens directed by Miller Funeral Service of Selma.

She was proceeded in death by parents, Dave Lee Bell, Jr. and Annie Mae Rogers Bell.

Survivors include, one daughter Jerneral (Marlo) Ellis; four brothers, David Bell, Authur (Katie) Bell, Johnnie (Cynthia) Bell, and Walter (Spanger) Bell; six sisters, Eva (Douglas) Hollaway, Shirley Bell, Diane Bell, Rose Mary (Alfred) Wade, Linda Bell, and Brenda Bell; grandchildren Jaiedyn, Kaleb and Christopher; one son-in-law, two brothers-in-laws, a host of nieces and nephews, and special friend and co-worker Sandra Fain.
