Motorists traveling Interstate 85 North between Montgomery and Tuskegee will find one lane closed during daytime hours for the next few days.

The Alabama Department of Transportation says the left lane of I-85 North near the Montgomery and Macon county line will be closed between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday through Thursday. That will allow crews to make repairs to bridge rails.

The Department of Transportation says motorists should consider alternate routes or adjust their arrival and departure times because of the closed lane.
