Lady Panthers beat Keith

Regina Bartholomew scored a game-high 28 points, Shanique Williams chipped in 26 points and Southside Lady Panthers beat Keith 67-57 Friday night.
Bartholomew opened the third quarter with a basket, and the Panthers led 38-32. Keith’s Angelica Dukes, who scored 25 points in the game, made back-to-back baskets, and Keith came within two 38-36.
“We played hard, but we’ve got to be more aggressive and stay focused,” Southside coach Wanda Tyler said.
The Lady Panthers led 41-40 late in the third. Williams hit a pair of jumpers, and Southside led 46-40.
Keith’s Alexis Young stole the inbound pass and found Dukes for the wide-open layup.
Southside pushed the lead to 52-44 to end the third quarter.
Kierra Miles finished with six points.
