Keith earned its first win of the season in a 64-40 drubbing of American Christian on Saturday evening in Orrville.
The win comes at the perfect time for a Bear team that fell to rivals Selma and Southside in its first two games and may prove to get the Bears back on the right track.
“It’s huge to get that first win,” said Keith coach Tommy Tisdale. “We finally put together a complete game. Hopefully we can build momentum.”
Terrance Collins led the Bears with 19 points and six rebounds. Gerald Matthews contributed 17 points and 13 rebounds and Terry Jones Jr. added 7 points, six rebounds and one block.
“Tonight we picked the pace back up after the first game,” said Tisdale. “We ran our fast break a lot better tonight and it showed.”
