The Morgan volleyball team knocked off Macon-East 3-0 on Thursday at Morgan.

The Senators took the best-of-five series 25-15, 25-16 and 25-17.

Catherine Armstrong led the Morgan attack with 12 kills, eight assists, five aces and six digs.

April Clark added six kills, Kasey Greene had five and Sarah Hughey had four.

Green led the Senators in service aces with nine on the day. She was followed by Armstrong and Summer Pugh, who each had four.

Pugh led the Senators with 17 assists. She also tied Greene with nine digs.

The Senators play at Evangel on Tuesday, and have five contests remaining before the region tournament at Faulkner on Oct. 20.

The top two teams in the region tournament will advance to the AISA Final Four.
