Former Camden police officer receives 25-year prison sentence

A former police officer here has received a 20-year prison sentence on a sodomy conviction and a five-year sentence on sexual abuse.
Circuit Court Judge Marvin Wiggins sentenced Thomas David Maness of 229 McWilliams, Camden.
Maness, 49, was convicted by a Wilcox County jury earlier this year of molesting a 9-year-old girl.
