Alabama state troopers are investigating a two-vehicle wreck on Interstate 85 near the Alabama-Georgia line.

Troopers confirm one person was killed in the crash early Tuesday that happened at about 5:50 a.m.

According to WTVM-TV, a witness said a sport utility vehicle and a tractor-trailer truck collided in the northbound lanes.

Troopers have closed one lane and northbound traffic has been rerouted at Exit 77.
