Firefighters have extinguished the structure fire at 310 McDonald Ave.

Neighbors told reporter Katie Nichols that four children were home alone when an across-the-street neighbor saw smoke pouring out of a window. She got the children out and took them down the street.

Nichols also reports an off-duty firefighter called 9-1-1 for assistance.
