Memorial planned for Alabama AM student

&8212; Students an faculty at Alabama A&M University mourn the loss of one of their own.
The body of sophomore Ross Draper Walton was found
in his residence hall room, Foster Complex, by another student around 11 a.m. Saturday.
A memorial service has been schedule on the campus at noon Wednesday at Bibb Graves Auditorium.
Walton apparently died of natural causes, said Huntsville police Sgt. Mark Roberts.
The 20-year-old Detroit native was an honor student majoring in agribusiness.
Sophomore Phyilissa Patterson, a 2006 graduate of Selma High School, said students have been texting each other asking for prayers for their schoolmate&8217;s
family.
Roberts emphasized that a wide range of services will be available as needed to assist AAMU students to cope with the death in the upcoming days, including counseling and other services from the Office of Counseling and Development at 372-5800; the University Chaplain, 372-5486; and Campus Ministries, 372-5065.
