A Hale County jury has found Timothy Banks, 34, of Greensboro guilty of two counts of sexual abuse.

Evidence during the case revealed that Banks molested a child under the age of 12 who was not related to him. The molestation occurred between 2003 and 2004, according to testimony.

The jury deliberated about three hours Monday before returning the guilty verdict.

Banks faces up to 20 years in the case.
