Williams, Tabb double team in win

MARION – A double-double from Deadrian Williams and a game-high scoring effort from Kenny Tabb allowed Francis Marion to pull away from Southside Tuesday night.
Tabb scored 28 points, and Williams scored 13 points to go along with 15 rebounds in a 65-53 win. Cameron Essex was one point shy of a double-double with nine and 10 rebounds.
The Rams held a 26-22 halftime lead. The Panthers weren’t able to keep the game from slipping away, despite three players in double-digit scoring.
Marcus Cleveland led Southside with 16 points, Jerel Peoples had 14 and Lakendrick Towns had 12.
