Wilcox girls dominate in win

CAMDEN – It didn’t take long for the Wilcox-Central Lady Jaguars to get in gear Friday night in its area matchup with the young Dallas County Lady Hornets.
They hit on all cylinders and cruised to a 69-43 win.
Wilcox had a 19-point first quarter output and a 22-point fourth quarter. The Lady Jaguars built a double-digit lead at the beginning of the second quarter, and it swelled along the rest of the game. Their largest lead was 30 points.
Faith Jones took scoring honors with 23 points for Wilcox. Glenicia Gildersleeve dropped in 13 points, and Raneisha Moorer added 10 points.
Jessica Spears led the Lady Hornets with 19 points.
