Staff report
Christmas is only nine days away, but approaching even faster is the Salvation Army&8217;s distribution deadline, and there are 350 angels yet unadopted.
Monday is the deadline for all contributions to the Angel Tree. Captain Don New of the Salvation Army is making one last plea to the community to help make this Christmas special for families in need.
The tree has come down at the Selma Mall, but Angels can still be adopted by going by the Salvation Army at
2104 Franklin St.
All donations are greatly appreciated, but being that Monday is the deadline, New said monetary contributions would be ideal, as the distribution deadline is Thursday.
