Funeral services were held Saturday, Oct. 13, 2007, at the Plesant Valley Baptist Church, Brent, Ala. with the pastor, the Rev. James officiating. Burial followed at the Morning Star cemetery, Marion, Ala. with Lee & Rollins Funeral Home directing.

Mr. James Heard of Selma, Ala., formerly of Sprott, Ala., died Oct. 26, 2007, at Jackson Hospital, Montgomery, Ala. Funeral services were held Saturday, Nov. 3, 2007 at Mt. Gillard Baptist Church, Sprott, Ala. with the Rev. Sam Heard officiating.

Burial followed at the Mt. Gillard cemetery with Lee & Rollins Funeral Home directing.
