An Orrville man was arrested Sunday in Selma and charged with criminal possession of a firearm that has the serial number filed off.

Reginald McMillian, 27, was stopped at First Avenue and Green Street during a routine traffic stop in his Chevrolet El Camino. During closer inspection police discovered a .38 revolver, which was loaded, and behind the seat.

The Selma Police Department on Monday was detaining McMillian, since the charge results in a violation of probation from a previous unrelated offense.
