James Bomar Ryall, Jr.

James Bomar Ryall, Jr. — Passed away on Tuesday, August 30, 2011, at his home after a long battle with leukemia. He was 68.
He grew up in Selma, graduated from A. G. Parrish High School, attended Montevallo University, and graduated from
Livingston University. Jim served four years in the United States Air Force as a computer systems specialist. He received his BS and MS
degrees in Business Administration from the University of South Alabama, and worked as a CPA in Mobile for forty years. He taught
business courses at USA for fourteen years.
Jim was an active member of Christ Church Cathedral, serving as Treasurer of the Vestry, Chalice Bearer, Reader, and Usher.
Jim was a member of Heron Lakes Country Club and served asTreasurer. He was a member of the Crichton Optimist Club for many years.
Jim is survived by his wife, Lynn Betbeze Ryall; daughter, Ashley Ryall Ormsby, her husband Keith, and their children, Sara Madison and Chandler Reid Ormsby of Gulf Breeze, Florida; his son, James Bomar Ryall, III, his wife Melissa, and their children, Gregory McKinnon and Darby Cooper Ryall of Gulf Shores, Alabama; his step-children, Margaret Lynn Naughton of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan; John William Naughton and his children Alexandria Grace and John Brannon Naughton of Mobile; and Adron Thomas Allen, Jr. of Mobile,-in-laws, William and Margaret Betbeze of Fairhope.
He is also survived by his sisters, Emma Scutter Ryall Gammons and her husband, Jim, of Apopka, Florida, and Sally Byrd Ryall Cullinane of Garner, North Carolina, nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

A celebration of life service will be held from Christ Church Cathedral on Saturday, September 3, 2011, at 3:00 p.m. Visitation will preceed at 2:00 p.m.

Laier, Bruce McCrory, Dr. Jack DiPalma, Judge Donald Davis,Joe Godfried, Coach Ronnie Arrow, Ron Davis, Steven Clements, Murray Cape, Greg Forman, Dr. David Duval, Gary Godwin, Dr. John Steadman, Joel Erdman, Mike Granger, Don McCrory, and Lee Schirvanian.
